Who we are

Almanac Planner is a personal planning app for monthly, daily, hourly, and long-range planning. This policy explains what the app stores and how it uses Google Calendar when you choose to connect it.

What we collect

• Your account email address, used to sign you in and sync your planner.
• The planner entries you type: tasks, notes, hourly entries, and repeat settings.
• If you connect Google Calendar: your calendar events for the days you view, and the events you choose to create.

How we use Google data

Google Calendar access is optional and only starts after you click “Connect Google Calendar” and approve the permissions. We use it solely to (1) show your events for the day you are viewing and (2) create events you explicitly send from your planner. We do not sell Google data, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to train AI or machine learning models. We do not share it with third parties except as needed to operate the app (our hosting and database provider).

Almanac Planner’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage and security

Planner entries are stored in your browser and, when signed in, in a managed database tied to your account. Your Google authorization is stored encrypted on our server and is never exposed to the browser. Only your account can read your data.

Revoking access and deleting data

You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time with the “Disconnect” button in the app, which deletes the stored authorization. You can also revoke access from your Google account permissions page. To delete your planner data and account, contact us and we will remove it.
